Intelometry Loss Factor Services
Loss Factor, Deration, Maintenance and Unaccounted-For Energy (UFE)
Intelometry specializes in the collection, forecasting, and maintenance of loss factors, unaccounted-for energy (UFE), and deration figures for utilities and their associated ISOs across the nation. This critical data is made available to our Loss Factor Service subscribers, offering both historical and forward-looking datasets for all covered utilities.
Our loss factor outputs are delivered in standardized, easy-to-use formats, provided in MS Excel. Subscribers can conveniently access these outputs through the Intelometry inRetail system or via File Transfer Protocol (FTP). With Intelometry’s Loss Factor Service, retail suppliers can be confident that the loss factors supporting their pricing, forecasting, and settlement operations are always current and accurate.
Comprehensive Loss Factor Collection and Forecasting
Intelometry collects published loss factors from a wide array of utilities and their associated ISOs nationwide. Additionally, we gather UFE figures for most utilities and deration figures specifically for PJM utilities. This data is maintained as both historical and forward-looking hourly curves, where actual collected data forms the historical curve, and our forecasts generate the forward curve. All loss factors are available either as a one-time purchase or through an ongoing subscription.
Our loss factor datasets are produced and updated daily in standardized MS Excel formats. Customers using the Intelometry inRetail system for retail energy operations can directly access the loss factors of any subscribed utility. Those not using the inRetail system can retrieve Intelometry loss factors via FTP.
